Passenger station

The building of the passenger station was built in 1924. This is the third building: the first one was built in 1845 and was demolished 53 years later. The second one was built in 1901 and due to the enormous increase in transport it lasted just 23 years, until 1924. In front of the building there is a coach station and on right there is a statue of a Czech and a Red Army soldiers made by Karel Pokorny.

The following pictures were shot to document the state before the rail track was thoroughly reconstructed and replaced in the section Dlouha Trebova - Ceska Trebova, junction Parnik. The works began in spring 2002 and lasted till 2004.
